On November 1, 2018, Padrinos Pizza shared their space with the 818’s newest chicken sandwich shop, The Kluckin Chicken. Their specialty: fried chicken tenders on a French roll or a pita wrap, topped with their homemade slaw, pickles and the secret Kluckin sauce. Customers can choose between three spice levels: Kluckin Chicken, Kluckin Mild, and Kluckin Hot. Be warned. The Kluckin Chicken still has a kick to it. Chicken tenders can also be ordered without the bread. Fries can be added as a combo to any of the chicken choices.

With such a specialized menu, The Kluckin Chicken delivers the perfect chicken tender: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and absolutely seasoned to perfection.

Hawaiian Shaka Burger

Bringing Santa Monica’s Shaka Shack burgers to the valley, Chef Jordan opened Hawaiian Shaka Burger in Winnetka, on the corner of Saticoy and Winnetka.

Their menu offers various burger options, featuring grass-fed beef burgers as well as chicken, fish, and vegetarian options. Their burgers are juicy, and perfectly cooked. Adding on toppings such as a fried egg further enhances the flavor of their burgers. Popular bestsellers include the Kauaiian, the Teriyaki Spam burger and the Hawaiian Kobe. Additional side orders include Truffle Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Hand Crafted Maui Onion rings.

The restaurant itself provides a laidback, island vibe and the staff are helpful and friendly. Chef Jordan himself comes out to chat with the customers to ask about their dining experience.
