Rococo Ramen: Not just another ramen place

“To provide a one-of-a kind experience that energizes everyone with an enthusiastic welcome, a passion to serve, awesome food, killer tunes, and an unforgettable time – one person, one ramen and one neighborhood at a time”

Rococo Ramen

Walking through the doors of Rococo Ramen on a cold Friday night, you notice two things: the line going outside the door, and their quote on the far side of the wall. That mission statement sets the bar high to first time customers. But, Rococo Ramen definitely delivers on their promise.

In November 2018 at a strip mall across the Regency Theatres on Balboa and Devonshire, Rococo Ramen officially opened to the public. The restaurant’s offerings filled up a one page menu of six different ramen options, appetizers, and Rococo Combos (any ramen, salad, and your choice of either a Chashu bun, gyoza, or Chashu bowl) as well as some non-alcoholic drink options and desserts. Their “Signature” Tonkotsu Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and the Tuna Poke taco are some of their crowd favorites.

Rococo Ramen is family run and owned. Owner Chef Andrew Lee takes great pride in using only the freshest ingredients on all of their dishes. The ramen recipes served at the restaurant are actual family recipes his father made for him growing up. Chef Lee loves seeing customers enjoy their meal; on occasion, you may see him making his way around the tables and asking how your ramen experience was.
