Grand Opening: Kitchen On San Fernando

It’s 5pm. After a long day at work, all you want to do is relax before heading home. Maybe grab a drink or two with a couple of friends. Perhaps somewhere casual with a happy hour, maybe appetizers, too, if the mood strikes. Whether you’re a Burbank local or simply visiting, you’re in luck!

Kitchen on San Fernando, an exciting new spot on the San Fernando Blvd block in downtown Burbank, is ready to serve up their brand of California cuisine to locals and visitors alike.  Located inside the Hilton Garden Inn, this restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a daily happy hour from 4pm – 7pm with indoor and patio seating available.  The daily happy hour include half off all appetizers, and $5 draft beer, house wine, and mixed drinks.

Last night’s grand opening allowed guests to sample the Kitchen’s various offerings:  Korean BBQ bao tacos (steamed bao buns, bulgogi beef ribeye, cilantro kimchi topped with a chili garlic sauce), steak bahn mi sandwich, glazed salmon, braised short ribs, and rosemary chicken sandwich.  The event also featured some of bar offerings of beer, wine, popular cocktails like the Berry Mojito, the Classic Old Fashioned, and the newly debuted Fig Martini.

“In designing our menu, we wanted to offer something unique, something with our own creative spin.  We also wanted create a space that’s both trendy and casual, where people can gather and enjoy good food and drinks.” Carol Nunez, Catering and Events Manager, stated with regards to the creation of the restaurant.
